I’m an illustrator who embraces the flow of creativity and the freedom of expression. My creativity is the result of my first experiences and inspirations from “Cartoons”. This sparked my love for animation, fantasy worlds, and characters. These stories drew me to comics and manga, shaping my childhood. I began to experiment with different paints, markers, and brushes to create my own characters and expand on their worlds. My creations are a reflection of myself and as I’ve grown in my skills I have been able to dig deeper into how and why I create that work. The work I create whether it be characters or environments, brings the feeling of being present. The time you spend reading a comic book or looking at an illustration feels stagnant. This world is captured at this very moment for you to be immersed in the message, environment, character, or feeling. You exist in this world the artist wish to convey to you, giving a moment of feeling present in the work itself. That connection as you are absorbed into the work is what inspires me to make Illustrations. The connection we share through art that’s created from character, color, line, or story in that moment is beautiful and brings us together more than words.
